Return & Refund Policy

Thank you for shopping at Bend to Breathe ("we," "our," or "us"), accessible from bendtobreathe.com. We stand behind the quality of our equine nasal strips and want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase.
If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help. Please review our policy on returns and refunds below.

1. Return Eligibility Window
You have 30 calendar days from the date you received your package to request a return. To be eligible for a return, the items must be unused, unaltered, and in the same condition that you received them.

2. Condition Requirements for Returns
Because Bend to Breathe strips are adhesive medical/performance products, we must enforce strict hygiene and safety standards:
  • Unopened Boxes: Full boxes of nasal strips must have the original factory seal or packaging intact to qualify for a full refund.
  • Opened Boxes: If a box has been opened, we can only accept returns if individual strip packets remain completely sealed, unused, and undamaged.
  • Exclusions: We cannot accept returns on individual strips that have had their protective backing peeled off, or strips that have been applied to a horse.

3. How to Initiate a Return
To start a return, please follow these steps:
  1. Contact our customer support team at support@bendtobreathe.com with your order number and the reason for the return.
  2. Our team will review your request and provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and the return shipping address.
  3. Pack the items securely in their original packaging and clearly write the RMA number on the outside of the package.

4. Shipping Costs for Returns
  • Customer Responsibility: You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
  • Defective or Wrong Items: If you are returning an item because it arrived damaged, defective, or we shipped the incorrect product, Bend to Breathe will provide a prepaid return shipping label and cover all costs.

5. Refunds Process
Once we receive your returned item, our team will inspect it and notify you that we have received your package. We will immediately notify you of the status of your refund after inspecting the item.
If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your original method of payment (Credit Card, PayPal, etc.). You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on your card issuer's policies (typically 5 to 10 business days).

6. Damaged or Defective Items
If your product arrived damaged during transit, or if you encounter a rare manufacturing defect with the adhesive, please contact us immediately at support@bendtobreathe.com with your order number and a photo of the issue. We will rush out a replacement box to you at no extra cost.
